Homework? What the…!

Hypnosis is not a magic pill…

Hypnosis has to do with re-programming the pathways in your mind that will bring about the change you desire.  Hypnosis will make these changes much easier and quicker; but you will need to do things at home to help you in the process.

The type of homework that you will be doing will depend on what type of change you are seeking, and your personality.  Some possible types of homework include:

  • Journaling
  • Changing habits (eating, exercising, being a bit more assertive, etc.)
  • Thinking about what you are grateful for
  • Trying a new activity (that you want to try)
  • Wearing a rubber band (I know – it’s weird!)
  • Saying affirmations
  • This list is really indefinite.  The options for homework are only limited to your willingness for change.

So, if you have to make all of these changes, why should you do hypnosis, right?!  The answer is simple.  Number one, if you were able to make these changes on your own, you wouldn’t be seeking help through hypnosis.  Secondly, you are having the problem(s) you are having because of a deep rooted belief system in your subconscious mind.  To change this belief system, you need to be able to talk to the subconscious in a way that it understands.  Hypnosis does that.  It will talk to your subconscious and help to make new pathways in your mind.  Cool, isn’t it?  Perhaps the most important reason is that I will personally make sure you reach your goal(s).  I guarantee that.

Absolutely! Hypnosis should NEVER take the place of advice from your doctor; it should be used in conjunction with other techniques (goals, prescriptions, the right mind-set, etc.) to get the best results. When you work on your issues from all possible aspects, you will get the best results! Let me know if you have any other questions!

Happy to find that there are blog owners that care about their blogs and not publish all kind of unuseable stuff but rather try to maintain it complete and notable for the sake of their visitors. You’ve done a great job and i thank you for that and as well for not traumatizing me with useless garbage and spam.Thank You
