My sister is a victim of verbal and physical abuse from the mouth and hands of her husband.  She is so far away from me (geographically); so I am very limited as to what I can do to help her.

Last night, we talked about hypnosis for women (or men) in her situation, and I asked if hypnosis for confidence or self esteem would help.  She said that outside the home, most abused people are perfectly fine when it comes to their confidence and self esteem levels.  She said the type of hypnosis that would help most would be a session about being able to detach from what the abuser is saying/doing.

So, that is what I am going to work on.  A hypnosis session for abused women so they can really, really know that whatever their abuser is saying or doing to them is NOT their fault.  Hurtful words are NOT true.  They do NOT deserve the punishment they are living.  This hypnosis session will allow the abused to be able to set themselves apart from what is going on in their home.
